Adult Umpire Program

We need eager and experienced adult umpires, for Major, Intermediate and Junior games, where game management is of the utmost importance due to the higher level of competition. If you are itching to get more directly involved in the games this is a great way to do it!  Our adult umpires love the thrill of having “the best seat in the house” to watch some great baseball, and they also enjoy the constant challenge of making the right calls, through sound judgment and knowledge of the rule book to give confidence in coaches and parents, the right call is being made. Our more experienced adult umpires have been nominated in the past to participate as umpires at the State and Regional All-Star tournaments.

Why Umpire?

For active players, umpiring can be a great way to enhance your understanding of the rules of baseball and how they are applied in game situations. It is also a fun way to stay involved in baseball if you are no longer playing. Umpiring also looks good on a college application because it requires many of the qualities colleges look for: leadership, confidence and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
