Do you have plans for the summer? If not, come and join SMYO Cheer Elite four our 2 ndAnnual June and July Summer CAMPS!
We will host two summer camps for athletes ages 4 to 18 years old! So, whether you want to see what cheer is about before registering, want to brush up on your skills before trying out for high school, or just want to stay busy doing the summer, WE HAVE THE CAMP FOR YOU!
The purpose of the SMYO Cheer Elite summer camp is to provide a cheer focused guided camp and provide attendees with the fundamentals of cheer, make new friends, and have fun!
Both camp weeks will feature different schedules, but we highly recommend signing up for both camps!

June Camp- Focus on cheer fundamentals (motions, stunting, tumbling).

July Camp- Cheerleaders will learn a full cheer routine! All cheerleaders will receive a SMYO Cheer Custom Camp T-shirt!

Location: Charles County Fairgrounds, 8440 Fairgrounds Road, La Plata, MD, 20611
**Drive through the main gate to the marked cheer building, drop off your cheerleader with the coach on duty. If you need to get out of your vehicle, please park your car near the restrooms (look for the orange cones) and walk your cheerleader to the building. This will ensure we do not have traffic build up. Friendly Reminders
1. All participants must bring their own lunch and snacks daily.
2. On the last day of camp, SMYO Cheer Elite will provide pizza for each cheerleader’s lunch.
3. Highly recommended to provide extra bottles of water with a name label.
4. We will provide additional ice and water if needed.
5. Please bring any emergency medication, such as inhalers (as needed).
Attire: Athletes should wear either spandex short, yoga/sweat pants, t-shirts and sneakers. Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail, and no jewelry.
Parents are not expected to stay during camp but please be mindful of drop off and pick up times.
Both camps will have a featured tumbling day, with our SMYO Tumbling Instructor. Every camp day will include either a craft activity, games, field-day physical activities, and themed days!
Once you have registered, you will receive a welcome e-mail from the SMYO Commissioner a week before the camp start date with official details!
