**Join Us for SMYO Cheer Elite's 4th Annual Summer Camps!**
Looking for fun plans this summer? SMYO Cheer Elite is hosting **TWO exciting summer camps** for athletes ages ** 5 to 18 years old**! Whether you're brand new to cheer, want to sharpen your skills before high school tryouts, or just want to stay active this summer, we’ve got the camp for you!
Our camps focus on:
- Cheer fundamentals (motions, stunting, jumping, tumbling).
- Bonding and fun activities.
- Learning a full routine and performing on the last day!
We are offering two summer camps:
June Summer Camp
Dates: Monday 22 June 2026- Thursday 25 June 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Charles County Fairgrounds 8440 Fairgrounds Rd, La Plata, MD 20611 (Note: Location subject to change)
Cost: $175; includes a camp shirt and Thursday lunch)
July Summer Camp
Dates: Monday 20 July 2026- Thursday 23 July 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Location: Charles County Fairgrounds 8440 Fairgrounds Rd, La Plata, MD 20611 (Note: Location subject to change)
Daily Themes:
Monday: Wear Pink
Tuesday: Sports/Jersey Day
Wednesday: Favorite Color Day (Wear Your Favorite Color)
Thursday: SMYO CAMP Shirt and Black Shorts
What to Bring:
- Lunch & snacks each day (except Thursday – we provide pizza!)
- Extra water bottles (labeled)
- Emergency medication (e.g., inhalers), if needed
Attire: Spandex shorts, yoga/sweatpants, t-shirt, sneakers. Hair up in a ponytail. **No jewelry.**
Each day includes crafts, games, field-day activities, and theme fun! A welcome email will be sent a week before camp with final details.
BEFORE AND AFTER CARE OPTIONS
For families needing extended care, SMYO Cheer Elite is offering Before & After Care for our summer camps, available Monday through Wednesday only. Camp hours are 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with extended care available for early drop-off at 8:00 AM and late pick-up at 4:00 PM. This option is $20 per day and must be purchased as a full package for all applicable camp days ($60 total). Before & After Care must be selected for all days and cannot be chosen for individual days. Families utilizing this option will receive a light breakfast and a light afternoon snack provided daily.
Total camp cost with Before & After Care: $235.
