2025-2026 CHEER Camp

Welcome to 2025-2026 CHEER ELITE SUMMER CAMP Registration

June Summer Camp

Dates: June 23rd–27th, 2025

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily

Location: Charles County Fairgrounds 8440 Fairgrounds Rd, La Plata, MD 20611

Cost: $175 (Includes a Cheer Camp Shirt)

Daily Themes:

Monday: Wear Pink
Tuesday: Tie-Dye Day
Wednesday: Crazy Sock Day
Thursday: SMYO Spirit Day (Pink & Black)
Friday: Camp Shirt & Black Shorts – Performance Day!

Registration Opens: April 10, 2025

Registration Closes: June 18, 2025

Drop-Off Info: Enter through the main gate and proceed to the marked cheer building. If you need to exit your vehicle, please park near the restrooms (look for orange cones) to avoid traffic congestion.

What to Bring:

Lunch & snacks each day (except Friday – we provide pizza!)
Extra water bottles (labeled)
Emergency medication (e.g., inhalers), if needed

Attire: Spandex shorts, yoga/sweatpants, t-shirt, sneakers. Hair up in a ponytail. No jewelry.

Each day includes crafts, games, field-day activities, and theme fun! A welcome email will be sent a week before camp with final details.

SOCCER

2025 FALL Soccer

Welcome to 2025 SMYO Fall Soccer.

We offer recreational soccer for children 4 - 18 years.

The purpose of our recreational youth soccer is the development of the soccer playing ability of the child. Safety, fun, and player skill development are the focus of the program. Regardless of the ability of a child, everyone deserves an equal chance to play and to learn in a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

Our recreational program is a part in-house league and part county league. These teams are all coached by parent volunteers. SMYO offers both Spring and Fall leagues. Registration for these seasons typically closes in mid-February (for Spring soccer) and July (for Fall soccer) respectively, so be sure to register early. Games are at fields throughout the county as well as practices are at local school fields close to SMYO. Number of practices depends on age - U6 practices once per week and U8-U19 twice per week. With 8-10 games per season. Times vary for games with practices usually starting at 6p.

As part of the registration, each player receives: full uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks), available skills programs, at least 8-10 soccer games, and end-of-year tournaments (Spring only; schedule permitting)

SOCCER SEASONS

Spring March-June with Registration - December through mid-February

Fall August-October with Registration - June through mid-July

Uniform Sizing:

Please ensure the correct size is picked for your player. There is a nominal fee for replacement uniform. All uniforms are purchased as Men's or Youth (Kid's) sizes. See below sizing chart:
